Purtzer Pianos started in 1980. I apprenticed in a rebuilding shop in New York City. While in New York, I attended City
University studying mechanical engineering. Four years later I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
and graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1970.
